All my dogs are AKC, many are champions and grand champions. I train and show my own dogs and occasionally for others.
Located in north-central part of North Carolina, Wildwynn Dachshunds is a family hobby. I have raised and sold purebred Welsh ponies for 40 years before deciding to retire. With my lifelong love of babies (human, animal, any baby) I decided to go back to my roots and begin raising mini longhaired dachshunds. My first introduction to these wonderful little dogs was back in about 1980. My first dachshund was "Paige". She taught me just how loyal and attached a dachshund can be. You are never more special than you are to a dachshund who loves you! Our puppies will come to you with their own little crate, a blanket they are used to sleeping with, a sample of their food and house-training will be well on it's way. You will be able to meet the parents and enjoy a relaxed "meet and greet”.
I have a degree in Veterinary Technology, have worked extensively in animal research facilities and with small animal vets. You won't find a puppy with a better start in life than ours. Nothing is held back. They are cared for completely, fed only the best and nurtured as if they were going to stay with us forever. We hope our baby dachshunds bring you as much joy as ours bring to us.
